I feel as though all of this is happening again. I'm beginning to remember what it felt like to be terrified all the time, but the horror is becoming worse this time. I have children. I brought them into this world with the hope they would not have to grow up in a world in fear of the Dark Mark and random acts of terrorism and yet here it is, knocking on our front door.

I have to admit I'm excited about the game against Slytherin tomorrow. And in honor of the first Quidditch game of the season I'll be assigning less homework. How about that?

I wish there was something I could do to make this all better for you both, but all I can really do is be here if you need an ear. In other news, I now have a pet rat. Lily Luna, I do believe we need a name for it.

Preparations for the Halowe'en Costume Ball are coming along nicely. I've been extremely busy with it all, but I do think it's going to be a night to remember. Has everyone chosen costumes already?

With the appearance of these travelers things have become a bit... weird, to say the least. There are three children at Hogwarts who claim to be my are grandchildren, Harry's children. Alright, young, impressionable minds... I have a bit of an announcement to make. As a welcome to all of our little travelers we will be holding a Halloween Costume Ball on Saturday, October 31st in the Great Hall starting at 6pm. All years will be allowed to attend and costumes are required. I'll send out more information as it becomes available to me.. and since I have been placed in charge of this little soiree I welcome any and all questions, comments and concerns.

I must admit I feel quite responsible for these travelers. Has the Ministry of Magic come to any conclusive decisions regarding them? We have a sorting ceremony set up for the younger children on Friday of next week. Hogwarts is more than willing to educate them and facilitate a place for them to live over the holidays as well. The older children I leave in your capable hands to place into our society.

Did you see what Harry had to say about dear ol' Mum? He is such a pain in my arse. Sometimes I wonder why I even try with him. Is he as impossible to teach in your class as he is in mine?

Well, never mind that. I could use a quiet dinner tonight. Kids or no kids?

After an excruciatingly long conversation with a twelve year old I've begun to piece things together a bit. I'm quite convinced that this is not a joke and I'm working closely with the Ministry of Magic to figure this out. In the mean time the time-traveling children are being placed at Hogwarts and there will be a sorting ceremony to determine their houses sometime next week. I hope this answers some of your questions, though I really do not have a whole lot of information on the subject.

I really have to insist that the students who are causing such an uproar please stop. You are not from the future or an alternate universe. The Ministry of Magic would never trust a little girl with a time turner and we all know this. I want the nonsense to stop. I won't have pranks like these distracting the students from their work.
